  • Manage two-way communications from Patient Connect, including appointment confirmations, cancellations, and rescheduling requests.
  • Participates in staff meetings and or committees as required.
  • Monitor and respond to patient inquiries via SMS and phone in a timely, professional manner.
  • Use MEDITECH Expanse Patient Connect tools to track patient engagement metrics (confirmation rates, cancellations, no-shows).
  • Participate in training initiatives to optimize the use of MEDITECH Expanse tools for patient engagement.
  • Monitor no-show and late cancellation trends; identify barriers to attendance and provide support.
  • Adjust provider schedules when cancellations or reschedules occur, releasing openings for other patients.
  • Escalate technical or workflow issues to IT or Patient Access as needed.
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to resolve scheduling conflicts or special requests.
  • Assumes responsibility for knowing and maintaining established hospital and departmental objectives, policies/procedures including mission, vision and values as well as patient satisfaction levels and mechanisms to achieve the goals.
  • Participates in performance activities including problem identification, data collection, solution selection, implementation and evaluation.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in healthcare or related field preferred.
