Tasks

-Implement and manage drafting and plan preparation standards -Will supervise and train junior engineers and CAD staff -Maintains drawing database -Coordinates work activities to maintain schedules and ensure quality control -The person in this position will make and quality check drawings and plans of substantial complexity and may perform some multifaceted calculations -Develop familiarity with Kimley-Horn’s practices, procedures, and standards -Develop technical drawings and plans

What You Bring

-Advanced knowledge and proficiency in Autodesk or Bentley products -Has knowledge of engineering principles and suggests design changes -Ability to set up and manage printing/plotting settings -High school diploma or equivalent (associates degree preferred) -Detail oriented, professional attitude, good communication, team player, self-starter -Ability to work independently and with a team -Strong work ethic, interpersonal communication/writing skills and desire to learn -Willingness to mentor and teach others -Requires minimal supervision to perform day to day tasks -8+ years of relevant experience
