Overview

Support construction project managers with budgeting, scheduling, reporting, and stakeholder coordination.

Tasks

-Schedule and attend regular meetings with vendors, site inspectors, managers, and staff. -Liaise with management and clients to identify and define project requirements, scopes, and objectives that align with organizational goals. -Manage compliance, quality control, and quality assurance standards and specifications. -Internally identify any potential roadblocks to avoid missed due dates. -Ensure teams work together to deliver quality work within strict deadlines. -Assign project tasks to relevant parties and check in for status updates. -Write reports, budgets, and project plans, and present them to relevant stakeholders. -Support Project Managers to ensure projects remain within scope, schedule, and defined budgets. -Support internal and customer required status reporting. -The employee is regularly required to sit, reach with hands and arms, speak, and hear. -Communicate job status to Project Managers and customers, as necessary. -Inform all foremen, supervisors, and subcontractors promptly of any construction schedule changes and work closely with all stakeholders to ensure requirements are met. -Help track and ensure internal cycle times are met. -Maintain budgetary, scheduling, and project database oversight, and report regularly to project manager to keep him/her constantly informed of job progress, plans and problems that could significantly affect costs or schedules. -Collect, monitor, and analyze operational and financial data in order to:

What You Bring

-Ability to maintain professional tact in a fast-paced work environment with internal personnel and clients. -Deadline driven, self-motivated, and technically savvy. -Experience using project management software preferred. -Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, PDF editing and manipulation. -Extremely organized with strong attention to detail. -Superior time management skills. -Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment. -Ability to learn new systems and databases quickly. -The employee is occasionally required to stand and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. -In field or in office telecommunications engineering or construction experience preferred. -Excellent verbal and written interpersonal communication skills. -Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision and Distance vision. -High school diploma or GED equivalent (bachelor’s degree preferred). -Critical thinking skills; make assessments and provide solutions to problems. -Ability to be flexible, take direction with ease, including changes to schedule and workflow priorities. -Familiarity with GIS systems. -High aptitude for learning new processes and systems. -The employee is frequently required to walk.
